Program (DYNAMIS)

The interactive program system Dynamis serves as an instrument for the investigation of questions of vehicle dynamics. Dynamis simulates the progress of a train run of any train configuration on a given line. The results provide basic data for further planning, e.g. timetable construction, dimensioning of protection systems, calculation of energy consumption or the development of new train technologies. On the basis of line, traction unit and train data Dynamis calculates parameters of vehicle dynamics such as running time, traction and brake force, speed, energy required and power.
